Alanya Left Its Mark on the Fair with Its Local Flavors

The Regional Products Fair (YÖREX), which was held for the 17th time this year in Antalya, hosts the geographically indicated products and gastronomic riches of Alanya. The stand opened was met with great interest by both bureaucracy representatives and citizens.

Broad Participation Joining Forces

A complete unity of power was exhibited at the stand established jointly by the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO), district governorship, district municipality and agricultural unions in the region. ALTSO Chairman of the Board of Directors Eray Erdem, Advisor to the Mayor Nazmi Zavlak, District Director of Agriculture İhsan İnal, President of the Chamber of Agriculture Tahir Göktepe, ALSİAD President Emin Cezirioğlu and chamber managers took part in the booth and hosted the guests. At the fair, which was officially opened with the participation of the World Federation of Chambers and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the importance of transforming local products into economic value was emphasized.

Intense Interest from the Bureaucracy

During the fair, the Alanya delegation introduced the values of the city nationally. In addition to Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Büşra Özdemir, the heads of chambers and commodity exchanges of many provinces such as Ankara, Bursa, Trabzon and Düzce visited the stand. Düzce Chief Public Prosecutor Yasin Emre and Turkish Patent and Trademark Office President Muhammed Zeki Durak, who previously worked in the district, were among the guests. Visitors were offered registered delicacies and detailed information about the geographical indication process was given.

Mayor Erdem stated that the promotional activities will continue until Sunday and that the city is represented in the best way with the environment of unity and solidarity provided.
