Alanya Religious Officials Will Save Lives

AFAD trainers working within the Turkish Religious Foundation (TDV) came together with the staff of the Alanya District Mufti's Office and organized a comprehensive information program. Within the scope of the training, the foundation stones of the professional search and rescue team, which is planned to be established in the future, were laid.

Disaster Awareness Is Instilled

In the program, the staff was informed in detail about the correct intervention methods, team organization and field processes in disaster and emergency situations. The aim is to enable religious officials to support professional teams and act in an organized manner in case of a possible crisis.

Teams are Preparing for the Mission

The training program increased the staff's awareness of disaster preparedness and contributed to the strengthening of the volunteer response network to be established throughout Alanya. The technical capacity of the personnel within the Mufti's Office was increased to the next level with these trainings.
