Alanya Safe Transportation Mobilization on Plateau Roads

Antalya Teams affiliated with the Metropolitan Municipality Road Construction Maintenance and Repair Department accelerated road maintenance and repair works in the rural neighborhoods of Alanya district. In this period when the people of the region begin to migrate to the plateaus, intense work is spent on the routes damaged during the winter months.

Immediate Response to Landslide Areas

Roads that suffered landslides and collapses due to heavy rains during the winter months are repaired with the meticulous work of the teams. The collapses that occurred on the Yaylakonak road, which is frequently preferred by Demirtaş and Gazipaşa residents for plateau transportation, were made safe by building filling and stone walls. Similarly, the landslide traces at the connection point from Yalçı District to the Kuşyuvası road, which is important for citizens using the Dim Valley route, were also erased with stone wall and filling works.

Asphalt and Patching Works Continue

In addition to security measures, the comfort of existing roads is also increased. Following the infrastructure and filling works, asphalt casting was carried out on the routes around Bıçakçı District and Dim dam. On the group roads of İmamlı, Fakırcalı, Yenice and Gümüşgöze neighborhoods, the damaged surfaces were patched and made available to drivers. It was reported that the work will continue uninterruptedly in rural areas throughout the summer.
