Alanya Municipality continues its efforts to improve the quality of transportation and enrich social living spaces in rural neighborhoods. The projects carried out by the Directorate of Technical Affairs teams in Şıhlar and Yaylakonak neighborhoods were examined on-site. The delegation first inspected the ongoing hot asphalt preparation works on the group road in front of the Fakırcalı Neighborhood Mukhtar's Office. Later, the surface asphalt works carried out on Garip Street and Midan Street in Yaylakonak District were examined on site. Stating that the 2-kilometer road was completed as a result of three days of intensive work, the authorities stated that the teams will continue to work in the neighborhoods of Tırılar, Beyreli and Gözübüyük, respectively.

Service Quality Increases on Rural Roads

Intensive work is spent on repairing the damage caused by heavy rains during the winter months on rural roads. It was stated that thanks to the stone washing machine provided to the municipality, the laid material was cleared of dust and the road quality was increased to the maximum level with this method. While it is aimed to provide citizens with the most convenient and comfortable transportation on the beach and in the plateau, it has been reported that the construction sites have become operational at full capacity.

Idle School Building Was Transformed into a Village Mansion

The last stop of the inspection program was the old school building converted into a neighborhood mansion in Şıhlar District. The building, which was closed and idle due to the absence of students, was renovated through collaborative work with the contributions of the neighborhood people. The building, whose landscaping, roof renewal and interior renovations have been completed; In addition to weddings, iftars and social gatherings, it can also be used as a disaster center in case of possible disasters. It was emphasized that similar studies will be continued in many neighborhoods where they are needed.
