All-Out Vigilance Against the Risk of Forest Fire

General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) data, high temperatures, low humidity and strong winds will be effective throughout Alanya for three days starting from Saturday, 27.06.2026. Following this weather forecast, which seriously increases the risk of forest fire, protection measures in the region have been increased to the highest level.

Teams are Vigilant on the Field

In case weather conditions trigger the risk of fire, all relevant teams, especially the Alanya Forest Management Directorate, have started to work on a 24-hour basis. Authorities stated that an uninterrupted watch will be kept in the field to protect the forest areas and that preparations have been completed against all kinds of negativities.

Critical Call to Citizens

Citizens were asked to be sensitive in order to minimize the risk of fire. In this context, it was emphasized that fires should never be lit in forest areas and their immediate surroundings, and unextinguished cigarette butts, glass or waste that could cause fire should not be left in the nature. It was stated that it is vital for the residents of the region to immediately report to the 112 Emergency Call Center when they see suspicious smoke or fire.
