Antalya Sector Representatives Gathered for Kaleiçi

The future of the Kaleiçi region, which is among the most important historical and touristic values of Antalya city center, was presented to the common mind at a comprehensive summit. The "Kaleiçi Summit", hosted by Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry ATSO, brought together the city's civil administrators, local government representatives and stakeholders of the tourism sector at the same table. At the meeting focused on local development, it was aimed to preserve the historical texture of the region and transfer it to future generations and to make its tourism potential sustainable.

Historical Heritage Will Be Protected with Common Sense

Addressing the participants in the opening part of the summit, Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin pointed out that the Kaleiçi region is one of the most qualified and indispensable tourism values of the city. Touching on the importance of preserving the historical structure of the region, Governor Şahin stated that the work will be continued with determination with a holistic approach that protects the historical heritage and at the same time supports the social life and economic production in the region.

Local governments and the business world were represented at a high level in the organization, which witnessed a wide participant profile. Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality Büşra Özdemir and ATSO President Yusuf Hacısüleyman, district mayors, tourism professionals, representatives of non-governmental organizations and sector stakeholders were present at the meeting. During the summit, strategic steps and planned projects for Kaleiçi were evaluated in detail.
