Antalya Young Scouts Joined Their Forces in Nature

Antalya Scouting trainings organized by the Metropolitan Municipality to contribute to the social, physical and personal development of children and young people continue. In the special integration camp held at the Youth Camp Training Center, 44 scouts who received training from the first to the seventh term came together and completed a three-day training process.

In the camp where theoretical and practical training is blended, young people; He experienced basic survival skills such as setting up a tent, knotting techniques, navigation and shelter. In the studies carried out under the leadership of Scouts Club Leader Ersoy Ünal, the practices of loving nature, protecting it and adapting to difficult living conditions were conveyed to the participants. Scout Leader Eda Ünal, who coordinated the camp, stated that they strengthened team spirit with educational games and activities and emphasized that their main goal is to raise a well-equipped youth who looks to the future with hope.

Young People Grow Up with a Consciousness of Responsibility

12-year-old scout Yaren Özalp, who participated in the camp, stated that being in touch with nature contributed greatly to their development. Stating that he used a compass for the first time in his life, Özalp stated that he gained a higher self-confidence and awareness of responsibility thanks to scouting. Seventh term scout Hira Beren Yıldız stated that while he improved his practical skills such as setting up a tent in the camp environment, he also had the opportunity to socialize by making new friendships.
