Finalist Again at Antalya International Arena

Antalya Climate-focused projects carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality have achieved great success internationally. Antalya was selected as one of the 3 national finalist cities of Türkiye within the scope of the One Planet City Competition (OPCC) 2025–2026 organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). With this success, the city was invited again to the We Love Cities 2026 global campaign and made its name among the sustainable cities of the future.

Big Step for a Sustainable Future

Projects implemented in the field of environmental protection, reduction of carbon emissions and use of renewable energy resources have strengthened the city's position in the international arena. Environmental policies implemented throughout Antalya have reached a maturity that will set an example for other local governments in the fight against the global climate crisis. In the evaluations, the works carried out with the aim of creating a resilient and livable urban structure received full marks.
