Flood Fear Becomes History in Pazarcı Neighborhood
Asphalting works of two new bridges built by Gazipaşa Municipality in Pazarcı Neighborhood to prevent the risk of floods have started.
Safe Transportation Step for Winter Months
Gazipaşa Municipality Directorate of Technical Affairs teams took action to complete the transportation and infrastructure move that the residents of Pazarcı Neighborhood have been waiting for a long time. Superstructure work has started on two new culvert bridges, which were built with the aim of strengthening the transportation network of the region and minimizing the risk of floods, especially during the winter months. The teams continue their asphalt laying operations on the connection roads of the bridges at full speed.
Bridges are counting the days to be opened to traffic
Within the scope of the project, the rough construction of the first bridge, which is 47 meters long, 9.5 meters wide and 4 meters high, on Mustafa Yüceson Street, and the second bridge, which is 30 meters long, 4 meters wide and 4 meters high, located on Asmaaltı Street, has been completed. Following the superstructure and asphalt works, both bridges will be made available to citizens and opened to traffic in a short time.
Studies Examined in the Field
Gazipaşa Mayor Mehmet Ali Yılmaz went to the field and personally inspected the ongoing asphalt paving works. Wishing the staff on duty convenience, Mayor Yılmaz said, "We are nearing the end of the project we initiated to ease the transportation of our neighborhood and eliminate the risk of floods. Our Directorate of Technical Works teams are rapidly advancing the asphalting process on the connection roads. I hope that our new bridges will be beneficial to our region and all our citizens."
