Huge Investment of 589 Million Liras from ASAT to Elmalı's Infrastructure

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Antalya Water and Wastewater Administration (ASAT) General Directorate made a total investment of 589 million 377 thousand 947 TL in order to strengthen the infrastructure of Elmalı district between 2019-2026. Within the scope of the projects implemented in stages, uninterrupted drinking water was provided to the district, while sewage and rainwater lines were renewed and a sustainable infrastructure network was created.

474 Million Liras for the Drinking Water Network

Drinking water projects took the biggest share in the infrastructure move carried out in Elmalı. A total of 132 thousand 530 meters of new drinking water lines were manufactured throughout the district by ASAT teams. With the works allocated 474 million 352 thousand 673 TL, the network capacity was increased, the water infrastructure of the regions in need was renewed and healthier and uninterrupted water service was provided to the citizens.

Sewerage and Rainwater Lines Renewed

8 thousand 92 meters of new lines were laid within the scope of the sewer infrastructure to protect the district's wastewater and environmental health. In addition to the sewerage investments completed with a budget of 43 million 32 thousand 740 TL, precautions were also taken against the risks of excessive rainfall. In order to protect settlements from flood risk, the system was made more effective by building 2 thousand 289 meters of rain water line with an investment of 26 million 215 thousand 491 TL.

ASAT, which also carries out superstructure renovation works on the routes where infrastructure works have been completed, made an asphalt investment worth 31 million 295 thousand 708 TL in Elmalı. Together with the 14 million 481 thousand 336 TL spent for other infrastructure and support services, the total amount of infrastructure investment brought to the district exceeded 589 million TL.
