Life-Saving Touch to Drivers from Gazipaşa Police Department

Action was taken to minimize the fatal consequences of injuries in the head area, which is the most affected in motorcycle accidents, and the risk of permanent disability. Aiming to transform the use of vital equipment in accidents from a recommendation into awareness, police forces launched a comprehensive information campaign throughout the district.

Within the framework of the "Helmet is Life" project carried out by Gazipaşa District Police Department teams; High school and vocational school students, bicycle and motorcycle repairmen, driving schools, caravan users, motorcycle couriers, parking attendants, PTT employees, drivers in marketplaces and electric scooter, electric bicycle and motorcycle users were reached.

Field Activities and Visual Studies

As part of the work, informative brochures prepared on the importance of using helmets and protective equipment and complying with general traffic rules were distributed to citizens. While visual materials were included on billboards at various points of the city, the impact of the project was increased with information activities and various events organized in schools.
