Mayor Özçelik Examined Atatürk Street Works

Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik inspected the renovation works carried out on Atatürk Street, one of the most important main arteries of the city. Stating that the infrastructure and superstructure processes are progressing in accordance with the planning, Mayor Özçelik stated that when the works are completed, a long-term comfort zone will be created for the citizens.

Infrastructure and Asphalt Works Continue

Water, electricity, internet and natural gas lines carried out under the leadership of Alanya Municipality on the northern lane of Atatürk Street were completed and hot asphalt was laid. While the infrastructure works on the southern strip of the street have been completed to a large extent, asphalt paving has started by the teams of the Directorate of Science Affairs. It was reported that the works, which started in front of Alaaddin Beach Hotel, reached the connection point of Güzelyalı Street and will continue until the front of Kale Market.

Chronic Problems Are Radically Solved

Meeting with the tradesmen of the region, Mayor Özçelik emphasized that the sewerage and water line problems that have not been solved for 20-25 years have been put to an end. Stating that the old water pipes containing carcinogenic substances have been renewed and lines have been laid to prevent power outages, Mayor Özçelik said, "We continue in accordance with our plan and without interruption. We are completely ending the sewerage, water and energy problems in this region. We will have completed all these works in May." said.
