The Hand of Abundance of Antalya Municipality Reached Out to the Districts

Ashura treats to be held during the month of Muharram; continues to keep alive the culture of solidarity, sharing and brotherhood. Within the scope of the events organized by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, programs with intense participation were organized in the surrounding districts as well as the stands set up in the Kapalıyol location in the city center.

In the activities carried out within the scope of social service activities, stands were set up in Manavgat Cumhuriyet Square, Kumluca Cumhuriyet Square and Finike Covered Market Place. Thousands of cups of Ashura prepared were served to the residents of the region by municipal teams.

The Spirit of Solidarity is Revitalized

Citizens showed great interest in the catering points that aim to revive the traditional spirit of unity and solidarity. It is aimed to spread the abundance and sharing culture of Muharram month to the whole city through the stands set up in the district centers. Municipal authorities stated that Ashura distribution will continue uninterruptedly at different points throughout the month.
