The Joy of Victory in the Neighbor is Crowned with Aydilge

The 104th anniversary of August 30 Victory Day will be celebrated with great enthusiasm in the Gazipaşa district, organized by the Gazipaşa Municipality Directorate of Culture, Art and Social Affairs. As part of the events, the first traditional Lantern Procession march will be held. The march, which will start at 20.00 on Sunday, August 30, in front of Ahmet Tuncer Primary/Secondary School, will continue along the sea route, accompanied by torches and Turkish flags, and will finish next to Selinus Public Buffet. After the march, the holiday enthusiasm will reach its peak with the concert of artist Aydilge.

Making a statement before the celebration program, Gazipaşa Mayor Mehmet Ali Yılmaz stated that this meaningful day in the independence struggle of the Republic of Turkey is celebrated with pride. Inviting all citizens to the Lantern Regiment and concert area, Mayor Yılmaz stated that he commemorated the martyrs and veterans, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms, with mercy and respect.
