The Tropical Paradise of the Neighboring District Is Flooded by Visitors

Gazipaşa Tropical Park and Tropical Greenhouse, which was established as a first in Türkiye within the Municipality of Gazipaşa, has continued to be the center of attention of local and foreign tourists, as well as district residents, since its opening. The area, which was awarded the third prize in the landscape, planning, design and implementation projects category of the project competition organized by the Mediterranean Municipalities Union last year, has become one of the most important tourist attraction centers of the region. The greenhouse area, which contains over 50 tropical fruits and exotic landscape plants, is in high demand from educational institutions and tourism agencies. The center added to the travel routes of tourism agencies; It hosts tourist groups three days a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Students Examine Exotic Plants Closely

Student groups visiting the greenhouse accompanied by their teachers have the chance to examine exotic fruits closely in the special atmosphere prepared. Little students tour the area and receive detailed information from the authorities about the growing processes of plants, and also have the opportunity to taste tropical fruits. Thanks to the educational tours organized, students leave the greenhouse with a unique experience.

New Route of Foreign Tourist Groups

Finally, a group of foreign tourists who came to the district with the organization of a travel agency visited the Tropical Greenhouse area. Guests toured the area accompanied by municipality staff and were informed about the plant diversity, and took a souvenir photo among the exotic plants. At the end of the visit program, tropical fruits freshly picked from the branches in the greenhouse by municipality employees were offered to the guests.
