Alanya Little Ones Designed the Future in ALKÜ Chairs

Alanya April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day activities at Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) turned into a science and culture festival with the intense participation of students throughout the district. The university's opening of its doors to local primary schools and kindergartens made a significant contribution to the city's educational vision, introducing local children to the academic environment at an early age.

Little Hearts in Office Chairs

Within the scope of the celebrations, ALKÜ Application Kindergarten Director Dr. Lecturer. The delegation led by Prof. Dr. Fatih Şeker was visited by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kılıç and Prof. Dr. Atıf Bayramoğlu in their offices. Economic Enterprise Manager Abdurrahman Coşkun and Expert Instructor Cansu Uygun also attended the visit. The children who took over the office chairs created colorful moments. On the other hand, Kestel Alantur Ayhan Şahenk Primary School student Elif İkra Er met with Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Işık Bayraktar, accompanied by School Principal Veli Uğur and Teacher İlke Tamer. Representative Vice Rector Er instructed the university library to be enlarged further. Then, the team made examinations within the Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Central Library.

Science, Art and Entertainment Together

In the events organized within the university, in cooperation with the Faculty of Education, Department of Music Education and Practice Kindergarten, Lecturer. A conference was given by Dr. Irmak Karabulut. In addition to poetry and music recitals, BİLSEM students also carried out DNA experiments in the laboratory under the supervision of the Genetics and Science Society. Young people toured the campus accompanied by teachers Burcu Alpaslan and Emine Altınkal and had the opportunity to have direct contact with science. In addition, Mahmutlar Kılıçarslan Primary School students participated in sports games with the organization of the Young Recreation Volunteers Community. Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan, who made evaluations at the end of the events where the integration of local students with the university greatly benefited the intellectual future of the city, emphasized that young people who grow freely and receive quality education are the strongest guarantee of the future.
