ALKÜ Students Shape the Future in Blue Homeland

At TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland 2026, which is the reflection of the National Technology Move vision on the seas, Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) Zeronetech Team made its name in the final fight with the autonomous unmanned sea vehicle "Kılıç Arslan" it developed.

In the organization held at Gölcük Shipyard Command between 20-23 August 2026, Türkiye's domestic and national technology moves are competing under the main leadership of the Ministry of National Defense and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation. The interdisciplinary team, consisting of ALKÜ Electrical-Electronics, Computer and Mechanical Engineering students, as well as Akdeniz University, Alanya University and Samsun University students, meets the autonomy and durability criteria in the field with the unmanned marine vehicle they developed.

Message of Pride from Rector Türkdoğan

ALKÜ Rector Prof. emphasized the will of young people to produce technology. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan stated that the team's success is a great source of pride for the university. Rector Türkdoğan congratulated the students and academic advisors, stating that the vehicle named "Kılıç Arslan" competing in the final was an indication of the determination to produce scientific knowledge.
