ALKÜ Wind Blows at the International Congress

Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) proved that it is one of the leading institutions in the field with both its academic knowledge and stakeholder identity at the 7th International Recreation and Sports Management Congress held in Antalya. ALKÜ, which continues to make significant contributions to the world of science with its scientific projects and academic studies, left its mark on the organization held between 7-10 May with the theme of "Active Society and Effective Management". The congress, which took place in a hotel in Antalya, was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Işık Bayraktar, Recreation Studies and Research Association (REKÇAD) President Prof. Dr. Bülent Gürbüz, REKÇAD Yönetim Kurulu Üyesi ve ALKÜ Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi Dekanı Prof. Dr. Hamdi Alper Güngörmüş, Prof. from Indiana University. Dr. Lynn M. Jamieson, Prof. from North Carolina State University. Dr. Jonathan Casper, Prof. from Indiana University. Dr. Stephen A. Wolter, Associate Professor at Shanghai University of Sport. Dr. Chenyu Shi, REKÇAD board members, academicians and students attended. In addition to the strong academic stance displayed throughout the congress, cooperation in administrative processes also attracted attention. Prof. Dr. Hamdi Alper Güngörmüş supported the coordination processes of the organization and helped establish a strong bridge between young academics and the world of science.

Scientific Productivity and the Aesthetics of Art

Among the 220 scientific studies presented throughout the congress, ALKÜ received great appreciation by making a scientific discovery. Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Prof. Dr. Hamdi Alper Güngörmüş stated that the participation of 10 academics and 30 undergraduate and graduate students from ALKÜ with 26 papers reflects the research capacity of the university and thanked all his colleagues and students.
