Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi (CHP) published the 23-point Manifesto for a Healthy, Happy, Safe and Free Future for Children in order to draw attention to the problems in the education system on April 23, National Sovereignty and Children's Day. The declaration was also shared with the public Alanya. In the statement, it was emphasized that ensuring equal opportunities in education and equipping children with the requirements of the age is essential for a strong Turkey. It was pointed out that increasing the quality of education in the region, which has a rapidly growing and multicultural structure, is critical for social development.

**Increasing Violence and Security Problem in Schools**

One of the main pillars of the manifesto was the recent increase in violence and security vulnerabilities in schools. It was stated that a total of 41 people lost their lives in schools and MESEM during the Yusuf Tekin period of the Minister of National Education. Emphasizing the incidents of violence, it was stated that 65 thousand expert security guards and 75 thousand school health nurses should be appointed to educational institutions. In addition, the fatal accidents and attacks in school gardens in Şanlıurfa, Kahramanmaraş and Diyarbakır were reminded and the urgency of physical measures was emphasized.

**Secular Education and Equal Opportunities**

In another important part of the statement, the state's responsibility for education was underlined. It was committed that education would not be transferred to associations, foundations or sects in any way, and that it would be carried out according to secular and scientific principles. It was stated that clean drinking water and one free meal will be provided at all levels so that no child goes hungry at school. The situation of teachers who have not been appointed was also mentioned, and it was stated that the paid teaching system will be abolished and all classes will be brought together with permanent teachers. The declaration ended with the message that education is the primary duty of the state and that all children should be offered equal opportunities.
