Five New Departments for Young People from Alanya University

Education Range Expands

Alanya University continues to enrich its academic structure with new departments. The programs implemented within different faculties and colleges support the growth vision of the university and greatly increase the educational alternatives in the region. In this context; The Department of International Trade and Logistics at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, the Department of Industrial Design at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the Department of Midwifery at the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Department of Music at the Faculty of Art and Design were added to education. Additionally, the Marina and Yacht Management Program within the Vocational School was offered to students.

Qualified Human Resources for Sectors

Evaluating the issue, Alanya University Rector Prof. Dr. Turan Sağer emphasized that new departments play a critical role in the development process of the university. Sağer said, "With the new departments we have opened, we increase our academic diversity and offer wider opportunities to our students. Our aim is to raise individuals who are application-oriented, in line with the needs of the age and equipped with a strong educational infrastructure. Our university will continue to add value to its region and our country with determination." The new programs are aimed to make a great contribution to the training of qualified human resources needed in various sectors, especially tourism, trade, design and health.
