Giant Meeting in ALKÜ: Sector and Student Hand in Hand

The third of the "Sector – Student Meeting", which has become a tradition within the body of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ), was held in the Kestel Campus Amphitheater area. At the fair, which was organized in cooperation with ALKÜ ALTSO Vocational School and Tourism Vocational School, more than 70 companies came together with students with the stands they set up. The event, which started with a music feast and local dance performances, attracted great interest from local administrators, academics and representatives of the business world.

Employment-Oriented Messages from Sector Representatives

Speaking at the opening part of the program, the protocol members gave important advice to young people about their career planning. Alanya Mayor Advisor Faruk Konukçu stated that they aim to increase employment by spreading the tourism potential throughout the year. ALKÜ Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kılıç emphasized the university's employment-oriented education model and drew attention to the importance of such meetings in the practical development of students. MÜSİAD Alanya Branch President Celil Kara also stated that investing in young people is an investment in the future of the country.

RTÜK Deputy President Güçer Shared His Experiences

Deputy Chairman of RTÜK Dr. Deniz Güçer, who was the guest of the "What You Wonder Passes Here" program organized within the scope of the event, talked about his career journey and the digital transformation of the media. Emphasizing honesty and perseverance to young people, Güçer said, "Do not make excuses, do not complain and do not compare yourself with others." During the day-long fair, students had the chance to apply for internships and jobs by communicating directly with companies related to their departments.
