Huge Donation to Education from Philanthropist Alirıza Bacaksız

Support for education continues to increase in Alanya. It was established last year and ALKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University Support and Aid Foundation (ALKÜDEV), operating under the leadership of Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan, received an important building donation. Alanya philanthropist Alırıza Bacaksız transferred the building in Çarşı Mahallesi Kaleyolu Mevkii, which belongs to her, to the foundation for the use of the university.

A Protocol Strengthening Education was Signed

The official protocol regarding the donation was signed at the ceremony held at ALKÜ Senate Hall. In addition to Rector Türkdoğan and philanthropist Bacaksız, the ceremony was attended by; Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kılıç, Prof. Dr. Işık Bayraktar, Secretary General Hüseyin Er and relatives of the Bacaksız family attended. Speaking after the signing, Rector Türkdoğan emphasized that every contribution to education is an investment in the future. Türkdoğan stated that the foundation and the university will become even stronger with the support of the Bacaksız family and said, "I sincerely thank Alirıza Bacaksız and her family for the virtue of making this meaningful donation, and I hope that the donation will be beneficial on behalf of our country."

Expressing his feelings at the ceremony, philanthropist Bacaksız underlined that, as a family, they attach great importance to education. Pointing out that such donations should be increased for the rapid development of the country, Bacaksız said, "We are very proud of this donation we made on behalf of Alanya." The meaningful ceremony ended with a souvenir photo taken after the speeches.
