May 19 Call to Young People from Rector Türkdoğan

Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan published a written message within the scope of 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. In his message, Rector Türkdoğan stated that this meaningful day, which is the beginning of the national struggle, is the clearest indicator of the unshakable trust in Turkish youth.

Youth is the Assurance of the Future

Stating that May 19, 1919, when the fire of independence was lit in Samsun, was an important turning point, Türkdoğan emphasized that it was a great meaning for Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk to present this day to the youth. Rector Türkdoğan stated that it is their most basic responsibility to raise generations who embrace the basic values of the Republic and take science and technology as their guide, and noted that as the university administration, they are working continuously to prepare young people for the future as individuals who are equipped both academically and socially.
