Nebahat Şifa AIHL Students Started a Cleaning Campaign on the Coasts of Alanya

Nebahat Şifa Anatolian Imam Hatip High School students, teachers and volunteers came together on the shores of Alanya on the occasion of World Cleaning Day and carried out a cleaning work to raise environmental awareness. The event, which was held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 10:00 on the beach in front of Yalı Taxi, was implemented with the understanding of "Green Homeland - My School is a COLUMN for the Future".

Environmental Awareness and Responsibility Instilled on the Coasts

In the field study organized under the leadership of Let's Do It Türkiye school coordinator and Science Teacher Serap Öztürk, participating students and volunteers collected the waste accumulated on the coastline. The organization emphasized that protecting nature, the sea and the city is a responsibility towards future generations, and aimed to develop a sustainable environmental awareness.

A Clean Environmental Heritage for Future Generations

In the event, which aimed to draw attention to marine and environmental pollution, social awareness was increased by cleaning the coast. Participants stated that such studies carried out in line with the vision of protecting nature and adding value to the future will continue.
