Record Donations Collected for DMD Patient Taha Miraç in Alanya

The aid campaign launched for Taha Miraç Kevkir, a student struggling with DMD muscle disease in Alanya, has ended. A record donation amount was reached in the campaign carried out through the Governorship-approved IBAN number.

Great Solidarity from the Education Community

The sense of cooperation and solidarity under the title of values education of the Turkish Century Education Model was once again experienced by students and teachers in Alanya. According to the total of the receipts submitted within the scope of the campaign, 5 million 295 thousand 490 liras and 21 kuruş donations were collected to cover Taha Miraç's treatment expenses.

The education community had previously shown a similar example of solidarity after the February 6 earthquakes, which were described as the disaster of the century. The remaining part of the donations collected with the contributions of students and teachers was completed by the HEP Foundation and Alanya Primary School was built in Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş.

Making a statement about the meaningful campaign, Alanya District Director of National Education Yusuf Yılmaz stated that significant support was provided for the student's treatment expenses and the awareness of cooperation was conveyed to the students. Yılmaz thanked the students, teachers, parents and the entire education community who contributed to the process, especially District Governor Şakir Öner Öztürk.
