Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) is expanding its education range by opening two new programs for the strategic needs of the region and the country in the 2026-2027 Academic Year. The new departments, which started accepting students after the approval of the Council of Higher Education, cover the tourism sector, which is the flagship of the Alanya economy, and the technical areas most needed by the modern industry.

Qualified Engineer Hands for Industry

In line with the vision of increasing the strength of the university in the field of engineering, the "Metallurgical and Materials Engineering" program was opened within the Faculty of Engineering. This program, which forms the cornerstone of modern industry and production sector, aims to contribute scientifically to the industrial transformation in Alanya and surrounding provinces by accepting its first students in the new term.

A Guide Will Be Trained at the Heart of Tourism

The university, which continues to provide academic support to tourism, the strongest sector of the city, has implemented the "Tourist Guidance" program within the ALTSO Tourism Vocational School. The program, which will train qualified guides who will introduce the rich historical, cultural and natural heritage of the region at international standards, will open its doors to students for the first time this year and say "hello" to the educational life.
