Ads on Social Media Under the Focus

Alanya Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen (ALESO) published a critical information announcement for real estate and auto gallery tradesmen. In the statement, it was emphasized that it is essential to comply with the legal legislation in real estate and vehicle advertisements shared on social media channels, and the rules that tradesmen should pay attention to in order to avoid administrative and financial sanctions were explained.

EİDS Verification and Price Obligation

Alanya Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen Ali İhsan Özdemir stated that the advertisements shared on social media should include Electronic Advertisement Verification System (EİDS) approved links. Stating that it is mandatory to write the sales price clearly in the advertisements, Özdemir pointed out that the shared photographs, videos and descriptions must completely match the information in the verified system.

Call for Inspection Against Criminal Sanctions

Özdemir, who wanted the advertisements to be checked and the deficiencies to be eliminated in order to avoid the risk of punishment during the inspections carried out by the Ministry of Commerce, noted that compliance with the rules would both prevent the victimization of the tradesmen and ensure safe shopping for consumers.
