Alanya Business World is Preparing for 'Blue Water': Time is Running Out

Alanya business world took action to fulfill its obligations within the scope of the "Water Efficiency Regulation" published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. At the meeting hosted by Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO), detailed information was shared about the "Blue Water Efficiency Certificate", which facilities in the region must obtain by 27 June 2026.

Technical Details of the Certification Process were Explained

Attending the meeting as a speaker, TSE Trainer Ahmet Eryurt conveyed the details of TS ISO 46001 Water Efficiency Management System to the participants. Eryurt explained with examples the steps that businesses must follow in the certification process, the technical criteria that must be met, and practical applications for more effective use of water resources. Considering the tourism and agriculture-based economic structure of the region, it was stated that these steps to save water are of critical importance for Alanya.

Emphasis on Sustainable Water Management

In the training, attention was drawn to the long-term economic advantages as well as the environmental contributions of the TS ISO 46001 system to businesses. While it was emphasized that sustainable water management will become a vital necessity for all sectors in the future, ALTSO officials stated that efforts to support the legislative compliance processes of chamber members and to inform the business world of Alanya will increasingly continue.
