Ali İhsan Özdemir, President of the Alanya Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, has prepared a comprehensive solution package regarding the retirement conditions that have become the bleeding wound of the tradesmen of the region and the economic contraction during the tourism season. Despite the tourism activity, local tradesmen, who struggle to survive due to increasing costs and decreasing purchasing power, are victims of the strict rules in the current system. The fact that businesses, which form the backbone of Alanya's economy, are crushed under the burden of unfair competition and heavy debt, causes serious damage to the sustainable development of the district and local employment. Action was taken by the chamber in order not to push the tradesmen who have served the city for years out of the system and to prevent bankruptcies.

According to the report, eliminating the premium inequality between Bağ-Kur and SSK has become an obligation that cannot be postponed. Özdemir emphasized that tradesmen should be able to retire by borrowing only as much as they need, without being forced to pay all of their past debts. Operators who want to pay off their debts are requested to take concrete steps such as interest rate reductions, installments in line with market realities and reduction of collateral limits. If these regulations are implemented, it is envisaged that the tradesmen will breathe a sigh of relief and the added value provided to the district economy will be preserved.
