Alanya's Flavor Heritage Showcased

The 17th YÖREX Local Products Fair held in Antalya opened its doors. Alanya's local riches and geographically indicated products were met with great interest on the first day of the fair. The stand, prepared in cooperation with the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO), Alanya District Governorship, Alanya Municipality, District Directorate of Agriculture and various producer associations, revealed the gastronomic potential of the city.

Alanya Delegation Hosted the Protocol

The opening of the fair was made by the President of the World Federation of Chambers and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. The delegation consisting of ALTSO President Eray Erdem, Advisor to the Mayor Nazmi Zavlak, ALTSO Council President Mehmet Kural, District Agriculture Director İhsan İnal, President of the Chamber of Agriculture Tahir Göktepe, President of the Carob Producers Association Duran Yılmaz and President of ALSİAD Emin Cezirioğlu hosted the visitors.

Among the names hosted at the stand were Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Büşra Özdemir, Ankara Commodity Exchange President Faik Yavuz and Bursa Karacabey Commodity Exchange President Murad Bertan. In addition, the heads of Trabzon, Of, Bilecik and Kırklareli chambers and the Düzce Chief Public Prosecutor Yasin Emre were among those who visited the Alanya stand.

Product Introduction and Future Vision

President of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office Muhammed Zeki Durak and the accompanying delegation received information about the geographically indicated products of the city and exchanged views. Alanya's proprietary products, such as tropical fruits, avocados, bananas, and carob, were promoted nationally. Mayor Erdem emphasized that the city is represented in unity and solidarity and stated that the fair will last until Sunday and that they are waiting for all citizens to discover Alanya flavors.
