All Eyes on President Erdem for the Eastern State

Alanya Market Association President Adem Kaya and his accompanying delegation visited ALTSO President and Presidential Candidate Eray Erdem at the election office. During the visit, the difficulties experienced by market tradesmen due to the current lack of capacity and increasing costs were discussed.

Turks Still Does Not Meet Capacity

Taking the floor at the meeting, Kaya stated that the reduction of the new market project built in Türkler from 300 decares to 150 decares left the tradesmen in a difficult situation. Emphasizing that the current structure may only be sufficient for Payallar and Konaklı tradesmen, Kaya stated that manufacturers in the eastern region are turning to Gazipaşa due to increasing traffic and fuel costs. It was underlined that in order to prevent this loss, it was necessary to establish a new market facility on the east side of the city.

Work Will Start in Ankara for Allocation Solution

Listening to the problems, President Erdem gave full support to the tradesmen, drawing attention to the importance of acting with common sense. Stating that they will establish all necessary contacts in Ankara for the allocation process after the suitable land is determined, Erdem reminded that success was achieved with a similar method in the organized industrial zone. It was noted that, as an institution, they will be mobilized to overcome all kinds of bureaucratic obstacles.
