President Akkuş Became the Voice of Alanya Tourism Professionals
Key Party district chairman supported the Alanya tourism sector, which was crushed under the increasing costs and tax burden, and called for an urgent solution to the government.
Key Party Alanya District Chairman Abdullah Akkuş drew attention to the economic contraction in the tourism sector and made harsh statements about the problems of tourism professionals and tradesmen. Stating that he found the sectoral problems previously expressed by ALTSO President Eray Erdem and ALTİD President Cem Özcan to be justified, President Akkuş said that tourism is Türkiye.
The Tourism Sector Wants to Breathe
Reminding that tourism is the country's smokeless factory, Akkuş stated that this field, which earns foreign currency and provides employment, is going through difficult times due to the heavy tax burden and financing difficulties. It was stated that the loss of blood in the Alanya region, whose economy is entirely based on tourism, will cause serious harm to all the people of the district, from local tradesmen to ordinary citizens, and will stop regional development. Making an open call to the Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Akkuş argued that tourism professionals should be urgently considered as exporters and access to finance should be facilitated.
The Real Agenda of the Economy is the Citizen's Kitchen
Reminding the words of former politician Süleyman Demirel, "There is no government that an empty pot cannot destroy", the district chairman stated that the basis of the economy is the citizens' kitchen and the tradesmen's safes. Akkuş emphasized that the Alanya tourism professionals could not get paid for their efforts despite bringing huge amounts of foreign currency to the country, and stated that the government's failure to listen to this voice would cause irreparable economic wounds. It has been announced that, as the Key Party organization, we will follow the justified demands of Alanya tourism professionals and tradesmen to the end.
