A Strategic Touch from the Muftis of Antalya to the Religious Education of the Future

The September session of the District Muftis Meeting, which is held regularly every month within the Antalya Provincial Mufti's Office, was hosted by Demre District Mufti Mehmet Şirin Ayral. The session was chaired by Antalya Provincial Mufti Aydın Yığman; Deputy Provincial Muftis Ramazan Özgün Türkmen and Talat Özmet, as well as 19 district muftis and deputy muftis working throughout the city attended. Within the scope of the meeting, the instructions and circulars transmitted by the Presidency of Religious Affairs were examined and field practices were focused on.

Training Activities and Service Standards Were Discussed

With the start of the new education period, the current qualitative situation of Quran courses, student registration processes and education-training plans were discussed in detail. Evaluations have been completed to ensure that the services offered in the courses are maintained more effectively.

Inter-District Coordination is Strengthening

During the meetings, non-formal religious education activities, service steps offered to citizens and administrative coordination processes between district mufti's offices were also examined. The delegation, under the management of Mufti Yığman, clarified the work schedule for the next period by exchanging ideas about possible problems encountered in the field and solution suggestions.
