The martyrs were commemorated with prayers in the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day program organized under the coordination of Alanya District Governorship.
On the 10th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, the dear martyrs and heroic veterans who sacrificed their lives for their homeland were commemorated with a widely attended ceremony held in Alanya district. Local protocol, martyrs' families, veterans and many citizens attended the commemoration program organized under the coordination of Alanya District Governorship.
It Started with the National Unity March
The democracy watch and commemoration program started with a national unity march with participation from all ages. At the ceremony held after the march, Quran recitation and prayers were made for the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country.
Alanya District Governor Şakir Öner Öztürk and the district protocol were present at the events, emphasizing the importance of upholding the national will. District Governor Öztürk expressed his gratitude to all citizens who filled the squares and crowned the homeland watch.
