Cancellation of Mobile Sales Permit from Alanya Municipality

Following the allegations of mobile sales outlets appearing on social media and some press organs, an official statement was published by Alanya Municipality. In the statement, it was reported that the temporary permission to open a stall in the Yasemin Children's Park located in Türkler Mahallesi, in order to avoid any victimization to a citizen, was terminated because it was used for purposes other than its intended purpose.

Alcohol Consumption Detected in the Children's Park

An investigation was launched in the region upon intense complaints received by the municipality and police units. As a result of the findings, it was stated that there were images of alcohol being consumed at the counter located in the children's playground. It was emphasized that the crowded groups gathered around the relevant stall negatively affected public order and the surrounding tradesmen were greatly disturbed and complained about the situation.

Permit Canceled for Public Order

Taking action after the violations disrupted the environmental peace, Alanya Municipality officials announced to the public that the land allocation was immediately canceled. It was underlined that the primary duty of the municipality is not to grant privileges to any person, but to ensure that citizens can safely use common areas. It was also stated that the duties will be continued with determination in order to protect the urban order and common life culture.
