Diplomacy Giants Met in Antalya

The 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF), organized under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, opened its doors with the theme "Dealing with Uncertainties While Designing Tomorrow". President Erdoğan and his wife Emine Erdoğan, who were welcomed by Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin at Antalya Airport, opened the forum. More than 20 heads of state and more than 50 ministers participate in the event held at the NEST Congress and Exhibition Center.

Common Sense Platform for Global Problems

Referring to the importance of diplomacy in his opening speech, President Erdoğan stated that they see the forum not only as a point of contact, but also as a platform of reason where humanity can meet around values. Reiterating the slogan "The world is bigger than five", President Erdoğan emphasized that the global system crises cannot be solved without closing the representation gap. The forum is expected to contribute to Turkey's peace mission with discussions to be held over three days.

The Pulse of Diplomacy Beats in Antalya

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated in his speech that ADF has turned into a global brand. Stating that an unfair international system only postpones crises, Fidan said that the international community should make a conscientious accounting in order to make diplomacy work again. At the forum, which will last until April 19, critical issues on the agenda of the region and the world will be discussed by academics, business world and civil society representatives.
