Alanya district, the measures to be taken against forest fires have been maximized. The 2026 Forest Fire Fighting Commission Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Alanya District Governor Şakir Öner Öztürk, where the strategies to be carried out against possible forest fires in the district were determined. Representatives of all relevant institutions and organizations in the district fully participated in the coordination meeting, which is of critical importance at the local level.

Risk Map and Historical Data Discussed

Within the scope of the meeting, forest fire data and statistics from previous years were analyzed in depth. While technical studies were planned to reduce risks in critical areas, the distribution of duties to be undertaken by institutions during and after the fire was clarified.
