Intense Interest from Muratpaşa Community to the Emphasis on Halal Earnings

Provincial Mufti Aydın Yığman came together with the congregation of Osman Gazi Mosque in Muratpaşa district for Friday prayer. Mufti Yığman went to the podium and preached to the citizens before the prayer, then delivered the weekly sermon prepared by the Presidency of Religious Affairs and performed the Friday prayer.

The Balance of This World and the Hereafter Emphasized

Mufti Yığman, who discussed the issue of secularization in detail in his sermon, stated that a Muslim must maintain the delicate balance between this world and the afterlife. Reminding that worldly life is temporary and the real home is the afterlife, Yığman pointed out that the ambition for worldliness can lead people away from spiritual values, and emphasized that God's consent should be observed at every moment of life.

Haram and Halal Sensitivity Explained

In the sermon titled "Haram-Halal Sensitivity" read before the prayer, the role of Islam's orders and prohibitions in preserving individual and social peace was touched upon. In the sermon, it is stated that divine rules preserve human dignity and social order; It was noted that the halal line should not be deviated from in trade, family life and social relations. It was reminded that behaviors such as interest, cheating and deceiving people are forbidden, and it was stated that honesty is a basic Islamic responsibility.
