Mahmutlar Headman Ahmet Sönmez reacted harshly to the road works stopped by the ASAT teams and withdrew from the collective effort.
Infrastructure and parquet works in Mahmutlar District of Alanya district caused a crisis. On Thursday, April 16, after the inspections made in Atatürk Caddesi with the General Manager of ASAT, the teams left the area and the work stopped suddenly, which attracted great reaction from the residents and tradesmen.
No one will be allowed to be victimized
Mahmutlar Headman Ahmet Sönmez, who intervened in the situation, stated that it is unacceptable to leave the work unfinished. Emphasizing that the daily life of citizens and tradesmen is negatively affected, Ahmet Sönmez stated that if the ASAT teams do not follow and complete the work, they will complete the project with their own means by providing the cobblestones and hiring their masters under the leadership of the headman's office.

Adding that the region is not a place that can tolerate such negligence, Ahmet Sönmez underlined that they will fight more than ever from today in line with the goal of becoming a district determined for Mahmutlar.
