Shielding the Risk of Overflow in Antalya Infrastructure

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality ASAT General Directorate has initiated a comprehensive study to minimize the risks of blockages and overflows that may occur in sewer lines throughout the city. Within the scope of the infrastructure mobilization carried out with the aim of protecting the environment and public health, the system is ensured to operate more efficiently and smoothly.

Investment Amount Reached 80 Million Liras

During the field activities carried out by the teams, a total of 325 thousand 249 meters of sewer lines in the central 5 districts were cleaned and cleared of accumulated waste. In addition to the periodic maintenance of the lines, the checks of 7 thousand 793 parcel connection chimneys were completed. In addition, 4 thousand 508 sewer covers were brought to a level appropriate to the road and pavement level in order to avoid danger in urban transportation and pedestrian roads. It is aimed to increase the infrastructure resilience of the city with the investments implemented with a budget of approximately 80 million TL.
