Meteorological authorities issued a critical warning for sailors and local people due to the strong wind that started off the Mediterranean coast. According to the latest evaluations, the wind blowing from the north and northwest directions in the seas between Kaş and Anamur is expected to turn into a storm with a strength of 6 to 8. It was reported that the storm, which started at 12.00 today, was effective by increasing the wavelength off the coast of Alanya.

The storm is expected to maintain its strength until noon tomorrow and lose its effect completely around 11:00.
