Two Global Awards from IRF to the Ministry of Transport that Make Turkey Proud

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure returned from the Global Road Achievement Awards organized by the International Road Federation (IRF) with two great successes. Aydın-Denizli Highway and Yusufeli Central Viaduct, one of Türkiye's giant transportation projects, were awarded by the international jury in their categories.

Double Success in Financing and Construction Methodology

In the internationally renowned organization, Aydın-Denizli Highway came first in the "Project Financing" category, while Yusufeli Central Viaduct won the award in the "Construction Methodology" category. With the work carried out, transportation times between Aydın and Denizli have been significantly shortened, making them more comfortable and safe.

Time-Saving Engineering Solution

Thanks to the special engineering techniques applied in the Yusufeli Central Viaduct project, the construction method was changed and a critical time contribution was made to the water retention process of the dam. Ministry officials expressed their gratitude to the General Directorate of Highways employees and contractor companies who contributed to the projects.
