Alanya Embraced the World with its Cultural Festival
The 24th International Culture, Art and Tourism Festival, organized by Alanya Municipality, was completed with enthusiasm after three days of colorful events.
Classical Music Wind in Historical Places
On the last day of the festival, a special classical music concert was presented at Kızılkule, whose 800th anniversary was celebrated. At the "Musical Tones Rising from Historical Places" concert organized in cooperation with the Alanya Municipality and the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV), Kate Vovk on the violin and Natalie on the piano. Barış took the stage. The performance, in which the duo interpreted distinguished works, received great applause from the audience in the historical atmosphere.
Culture Stands and Artist Concerts
Alanya Food and beverage and culture stands established at the Pier attracted great attention from the citizens. Mayor advisors Abdurrahman Açıkalın, Sadık Dizdaroğlu, Faruk Konukçu and Nazmi Zavlak, who visited the area where products specific to the city culture are exhibited, together with the council members, wished fruitful profits to the producers and Mayor of Alanya. He conveyed the greetings of Osman Tarık Özçelik. At the closing program held behind the old town hall, council member İrem Yunusoğlu presented a plaque to DJ Gökhan Sakaltaş, who was the first to take the stage. At the final of the festival, world-famous artist Goran Bregoviç presented an unforgettable musical feast to the audience with his wide repertoire of Balkan melodies. Presidential advisor Açıkalın presented the gift to the legendary artist.
