Alanya People Integrated with Art and Music

Alanya The International Culture, Art and Tourism Festival, hosted for the 24th time this year, continues to add great value to the cultural and economic life of the city. On the second day of the festival, the event area turned into both a commercial center that makes local tradesmen happy and a melting pot where resident foreigners showcase their local culture. Deputy Mayor Murat Levent Koçak visited the stands one by one and wished the tradesmen good luck. The festival, which draws attention with its direct contribution to the international promotion of the city and the income of the tradesmen, united thousands of citizens in a common enthusiasm.

Art Wind in Historical Places

The art activities of the festival were held in harmony with the historical texture of the city. The exhibition "Following the Tree, Following the Fire", prepared by the Iranian artist Anna Naeini using the wood burning technique, was opened at the Historical Cistern. Vice President Koçak, President's Advisor Faruk Konukçu and Council Member İrem Yunusoğlu cut the ribbon of the exhibition, which can be visited until May 30. On the other hand, the 10th International Alanya Cartoon Competition Exhibition held in Kızılkule also opened its doors to art lovers. Awards were presented to the winners of the event, where 856 works from 53 countries competed. In the exhibition, a special corner prepared in memory of the master illustrator Musa Gümüş, who passed away last year, gave visitors emotional moments. Advisor to the President Abdurrahman Açıkalın accompanied the opening ceremony.

The Enthusiasm Lasted Until Midnight

There was a musical feast on the main stage set up behind the Old Town Hall. DJ Oğulcan Gümüş, who opened the night, warmed the audience with the popular songs he played. Afterwards, the famous artist Melek Mosso took the stage and gave the crowd that completely filled the area an unforgettable night. After the concert, which lasted until late hours, a thank you gift was presented to Mosso by Vice President Koçak. The last day of the festival will be crowned with the concert of world-famous musician Goran Bregoviç.
