Students from Alanya received the awards they won in the international music and painting competitions held in Poland from Deputy President Koçak.

Alanya's Young Talents Conquered Poland!

Students who achieved great success in international art and music festivals held in Poland, the sister city of Alanya, were rewarded. The young people who won the 11th International Mayflower Country Music Competition and the 20th International Beauty, Goodness and Joy Garden Art Festival Painting Competition were hosted by Alanya Deputy Mayor Murat Levent Koçak.

International Success in Music and Painting

At the International Mayflower Country Song Festival, Mustafa-Mürüvvet Alaattinoğlu Anatolian High School 12th grade student Demir Gürşahin was deemed worthy of an honorable mention with his song "Blowin in the Wind". In the competition organized by the Youth Palace in the city of Nowy Sącz, where a total of 140 applications were made, the jury found Gürşahin's performance successful.

The wind of Alanya blew in the festival where 2 thousand 80 applications were made from 7 countries in the field of painting. Private Alanya İsabet Schools student Fatıma Betül Yetgin came first; Special Alanya Oba Bahçeşehir College student Cansen Kaya and Alanya BİLSEM and Hüseyin Azakoğlu Secondary School student Yağmur Kurt were deemed worthy of special awards.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Deputy President Koçak stated that they are proud of the success of the students representing Alanya in the international arena. Stating that they will always be supporters of education and arts, Koçak presented gifts to the students and wished them continued success.
