Dance Festival Revitalized Alanya Tourism

The 4th International Folk Dances and Music Festival, held in Alanya district, continues with all its enthusiasm with the participation of 1200 dancers from 7 countries. Foreign groups, which took the stage in the first two days of the event, visited Alanya Municipality. The delegation came together with Mayor's Advisor Sadık Dizdaroğlu and Municipal Council Member Asrın Ateşoğlu and shared the festival enthusiasm.

6 Thousand Overnight Stays for the Tourism Sector

The participants, who added a different dimension to the cultural life of the region with their traditional costumes, local music and dances specific to their countries, also gave great impetus to tourism activity. It was announced that approximately 6 thousand overnight stays were provided in accommodation facilities throughout the district, thanks to this giant organization of which Alanya Municipality is the main supporter.

The Visual Festival Will Continue Over the Weekend

Dizdaroğlu and Ateşoğlu thanked the foreign groups for their visits and wished them success. The colorful event, which is a visual feast and attracts great interest from citizens, will continue to host art lovers with various shows on 16 and 17 May.
