Antalya The Provincial Final of the Beautiful Adhan Recitation and Effective Sermon Presentation Competition, organized by the Provincial Mufti's Office in order to increase the professional knowledge, skills and oratory qualities of religious officials, was held at the Akdeniz University Mosque. Provincial Mufti Aydın Yığman, deputy muftis, jury members and many religious officials attended the event.

Perfect Oratory at the Pulpit and Competition for Position

Within the scope of the competition, religious officials made an effort to recite the call to prayer in accordance with the procedure and tone, while in the sermon category, they were evaluated on their diction, body language and ability to address the congregation. Provincial Mufti Yığman congratulated all the participants, emphasizing that the adhan is one of the most important mottos of Islam and that the sermon is an effective means of guidance that directs the spiritual life.

The names that will go to the Regional Final have been announced

As a result of the jury evaluations, Imam Hatip Süleyman Kurşun from Aksu district came first in the category of Beautiful Adhan Recitation, while Enes Demirbaş from Konyaaltı district came first in the Effective Sermon Delivery category. The winners were entitled to represent the city in the regional competition. The program ended with the presentation of gifts to the winners.
