International Children's and Kite Festival from the Metropolitan

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality is transforming the city into a giant festival area as part of the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebrations. The "April 23 International Children's and Kite Festival", which will be held by the Department of Culture, Art and Social Affairs on April 17-18-19, 2026 at the Glass Pyramid Festival Area, will offer children moments of enthusiasm for three days.

Fun-filled events begin

During the festival, the sky will be cheered up with colorful kites, while a children's disco, DJ performances, theater shows, magician shows and rhythm workshops will be held in the event area. In addition to the inflatable and wooden playgrounds to be established in the area, many different activity points such as face painting, balloon folding and VR experience areas will be created for children. The Metropolitan Municipality Band and City Orchestra and İsmail Baha Sürelsan Conservatory groups will also bring the enthusiasm of the holiday to the top with their stage performances.

Children of the World Will Meet in Antalya

This year, children from 10 different countries will participate in the festival, which has an international character. While the guest country groups will perform their traditional dances on April 18-19, they will march for world peace in the Love Cortege to be held between Atatürk Park and Cumhuriyet Square on Monday, April 20 at 16.00. Within the scope of the festival, the 17th Annual Symposium for the 5-12 age group. Chess Tournament will also be organized and the competition of little athletes will be hosted. In the evening programs, Devin Su, Penguen Sanat and Vo Sahne concerts will meet with the audience.
