Yeşilçam Posters Took Antalya People on a Journey Through Time
Yeşilçam Movie Posters Exhibition, organized by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, opened its doors at Bülent Ecevit Cultural Center.
The "Yeşilçam Movie Posters Exhibition", which was realized in cooperation with the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and the Antalya Cinema Association, was presented to art lovers at a ceremony held at the Bülent Ecevit Cultural Center. Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin, Head of Culture, Art and Social Affairs Department Okan Yavuz, President of Antalya Cinema Association Okan Dilek, Curator Ulvi Sulaoğlu, Collector Mustafa Aydemir and many citizens attended the opening, which included works that left their mark on the golden age of Turkish cinema.
Governor Şahin's Emphasis on the City of Art
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Governor Şahin stated that the exhibited posters revive the memories of generations. Emphasizing that Antalya is a city of culture, art and sports, Şahin stated that the city is a special point that has hosted the Altın Portakal Film Festival for more than 60 years. Governor Şahin drew attention to the importance of qualified projects and invited all citizens to breathe this nostalgic atmosphere.

After the opening ribbon was cut, protocol members and visitors examined the original collection that sheds light on different periods of Yeşilçam. The exhibition, which includes rare pieces about the history of Turkish cinema, attracted great attention from both cinema enthusiasts and younger generations. Citizens stated that the exhibition has a deep meaning for the generations that grew up with Yeşilçam films and that it was a visual feast.
