Hundreds of students from sixteen high schools will provide unforgettable moments to art lovers at the traditional theater festival organized with the support of Alanya Municipality.

Young Talents Will Shine on the Alanya Stage
The countdown has begun for the 12th High School Theater Festival, organized in cooperation with Alanya Municipality Directorate of Library and Museums and Alanya District Directorate of National Education. The cultural event, supported by Antalya Governorship and District Governorship, aims to make a great contribution to the artistic development of young people in the region and to introduce students to theater. Within the scope of the festival, which will be held between 7 - 24 May 2026, 16 different high schools will perform before the audience with the plays they prepared.

Young People Will Swallow the Dust of the Stage

Alanya The events, which will be held at the Cultural Center and will be completely free, constitute an important platform for young people to showcase their talents. Alanya District Director of National Education Yusuf Yılmaz emphasized that the festival plays a key role in students' self-confidence building and participation in social life. Yılmaz invited all art lovers to share this enthusiasm.

The Cultural Festival Will Last for 17 Days

The opening ceremony of the festival will be held on May 8 at 19.30. A wide range of plays will be staged throughout the event, from drama to comedy, from classical works to modern adaptations. The organization, which increases the cultural dynamism of the city and hosts thousands of spectators every year, pumps fresh blood into the district's local art vision by bringing high school students together with theater art.
